Hi there, I’m Elyssette Morgan.

Welcome to TheFoodiePlanner—your digital kitchen companion for turning meal-time chaos into calm, organized enjoyment. I’m so glad you’re here. This space was created for anyone who loves good food but could use a little help getting it from the plan to the plate, without the last-minute scramble.
My Story
TheFoodiePlanner grew from my own kitchen reality. Between a busy schedule and a genuine love for cooking, I found myself stuck in a cycle of inspiration and frustration—pinning recipes I never made, buying groceries that went to waste, and facing the dreaded “what’s for dinner?” question daily.
I started this blog to build a better system. As a former project manager, I realized that the same principles that organize workflows could organize a kitchen. Here, I share the strategies, weekly plans, and reliable recipes that transformed cooking from a chore into a joyful, manageable part of my life. My goal is to help you experience that same shift.

My Food Philosophy
I believe that successful home cooking rests on a few simple pillars:
A Plan is a Gift, Not a Cage: Good planning creates freedom, not restriction. It’s the framework that makes spontaneous joy possible.
Efficiency Enables Enjoyment: When the logistics are handled, you can actually enjoy the process of cooking and connecting.
Good Food Should Be Accessible: Delicious, satisfying meals don’t require exotic ingredients or chef-level skills—just clear directions and a bit of organization.
Progress Over Perfection: The goal isn’t a flawless kitchen; it’s a happy, well-fed household.
A Little More About Me
When I’m not crafting meal plans or testing recipes, you can usually find me:
Geeking out over a new organizational app or a perfectly designed kitchen tool.
Hosting low-key, plan-ahead dinners where the focus is on the company.
Exploring a local farmers’ market with a list (I always have a list).
Probably rearranging my pantry… again. It’s a work in progress.
