Bang Bang Chicken Skewers

Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are spicy, crunchy, and creamy grilled chicken bites coated with a flavorful homemade bang bang sauce that’s perfect as an appetizer or light meal.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Thread chicken pieces evenly onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  3. Season chicken lightly with salt and black pepper.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and minced garlic to create the bang bang sauce.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through and lightly charred.
  6. Remove skewers from grill and brush generously with the bang bang sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add extra sriracha or sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes over the skewers before grilling.
