Ingredients
For the cake batter
- 175 g castor sugar
- 225 g self raising flour
- 225 g butter, softened
- 4 eggs
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 punnet of blueberries

- 100 g icing sugar
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
