Cake Mix Cookies

Deliciously soft and easy-to-make cake mix cookies that combine the convenience of cake mix with classic cookie textures for a perfect sweet treat any time.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts for added texture and flavor.
  4. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and lightly golden.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking and sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt on top before placing in the oven.
