Cheeseburger Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

These Cheeseburger Sliders on sweet Hawaiian rolls combine juicy beef patties with melted cheese and classic toppings for a perfect bite-sized comfort meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Optional: lettuce and tomato slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Divide the ground beef into 12 equal portions and form small patties slightly larger than the rolls.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook patties 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place cooked patties on the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls.
  5. Top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and allow to melt slightly.
  6. Add chopped onions, pickle slices, ketchup, and mustard on each slider.
  7. Optional: add lettuce and tomato slices for extra freshness.
  8. Cover with the top halves of the rolls and place sliders on a baking sheet.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until warm and cheese is melted.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a smoky flavor, try melting the cheese under a broiler for 1-2 minutes and add a dash of smoked paprika to the beef mixture.
