This creamy Chicken Garlic Parmesan Pasta combines tender chicken breast with a rich garlic-infused sauce and freshly grated Parmesan, making it a comforting and flavorful Italian-inspired dinner.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and slice into strips.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Add red pepper flakes if using.
  7. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce.
  8. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding sautéed mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes. Serve with a side of garlic bread or a fresh green salad.
