Chocolate Mint Pie

A rich and creamy Chocolate Mint Pie combining smooth chocolate and refreshing mint flavors in a crisp graham cracker crust, perfect for dessert lovers.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
  • Chocolate shavings or mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
  3. Bake crust for 8 minutes, then let cool completely.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold whipped cream, peppermint extract, and melted chocolate into the cream cheese until well combined.
  7. Pour filling into cooled crust and smooth the top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  9. Garnish with chocolate shavings or mint leaves before serving, if desired.

Notes

For an extra minty twist, add a few drops of green food coloring to the filling and serve chilled with a dollop of whipped cream.
