Delight in these festive Christmas Rice Crispy Treats, combining crunchy cereal with gooey marshmallows and colorful holiday sprinkles for a fun and easy seasonal snack.

  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Red and green holiday sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Quickly fold in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
  5. Gently stir in holiday sprinkles if using.
  6. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9×13-inch pan using a spatula or wax paper.
  7. Allow to cool and set for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For extra festive flair, drizzle melted white chocolate on top before setting, or add crushed candy canes for a peppermint twist.
