Cranberry Jalapeno Cream Cheese Dip

A zesty and creamy dip combining tart cranberries with spicy jalapenos and smooth cream cheese, perfect for parties and gatherings.

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the fresh cranberries, chopped jalapeno, honey, and lime juice to the cream cheese. Mix well until evenly combined.
  3. Fold in the chopped fresh cilantro and season with salt to taste.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled with crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For extra heat, leave some of the jalapeno seeds in or garnish with sliced jalapenos. This dip can also be made a day ahead to deepen the flavors.
