Chicken Spaghetti is a comforting and creamy baked pasta dish featuring tender shredded chicken, spaghetti noodles, and a rich cheese sauce perfect for a hearty family dinner.

  • 8 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, celery, green bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Add shredded chicken, sautéed vegetables, cooked spaghetti, and half of the shredded cheeses to the bowl; stir until well combined.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted and golden.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, top with crushed buttery crackers or breadcrumbs before baking for a crunchy texture.
