  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together until evenly coated with the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes or serve with a side of garlic bread.
