This Honey Garlic Ground Turkey is a quick and flavorful dish combining lean ground turkey with a savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked turkey and stir well to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.
  7. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, add steamed vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers to the skillet before adding the sauce.
